I don't have connection problems. My deal is every time I search a movie I want to watch it says "not available". Example: I never watched 300. It's an older flick and shows up on the Netflix search but states "not available". I would say 4 out of 5 that I have picked are like that.

I have trouble believing you have trouble keeping something up. . . :naughty:

Oh good LORD!!!! You got me!! :) Not enough coffee yet, I guess!!

Seriously, though, I think my problem is with my NEW Vizio tv and not Netflix. Have been thinking about routing the Netflix through the Xbox but that would require a little bit of effort on my part ... I'm just not sufficiently motivated to do anything other than complain right now ... ;)

Not sure why it is like that......Their selection is ever changing so you will have to keep looking, OR....log in online and have them send you the DVD.....

And for us older peeps, I did a search for "Swamp Thing" the other night, and score it's on there. I love that movie...

Im with you. I think of a older movie that I want to watch and it isnt available yet in the instant system. If my wife and kids didnt watch it so much i would get rid of it.

You get what you pay for. $7.99 per month streaming is a good deal. Not available is usually due to NF having rights to something then the owner pulling the rights and NF having to renegotiate with the owner of the title. Call 'em up and register your feedback. They do listen.

For example: They're always changing their menu system. Very annoying. I called 'em to complain and told 'em which menu format I liked best. The customer service rep listened, explained why it happened (IT weenies always playing) and said there wasn't much she could do.

Anyway - next time I logged on to NF (about 1/2 later) low and behold my favorite menu format was back. Coincidence? You decide. Of course it changed again about 2 weeks later to something else but for $8/month I'll deal with it.

It's not you. Netflix is constantly updating and changing everything for some god awful reason they think it is necessary. Also they have tons of people on any given server at one moment if something crashes it takes awhile to fix it. It is not your fault Netflix will have issue give them a bit to fix it they still have the movie.

The not available message you are getting is because the movie you want is not currently offered via streaming. If you were to click on the movie it will usually be available on DVD but not streaming. They say they want to go totally streaming by 2012 but they are going to have to put way more content up for streaming if they want half a chance for that to succeed.

I've been a Netflix subscriber for a long time, but lately, I can't get my Instant Que to show up but I can still use the search feature on the Roku box. My Tivo box works good, but doesn't have the search feature.:( instant watcher is a good site to find what movies are available, whats popular, upcoming, ending, etc.
