Honest opinion: I'm not sure its been done. I say buy one and try it. Then get drunk and post a good write up about it with lots of pictures.

I actually have two ACOG's on my Hi-point carbine. One in the 10:30 position and one in the 1:30 position. That way I don't have to share the same optic with both eyes. It's kinda like binoculars with chevrons in the middle of em'. I am sure this new technique will be catching on very soon. Also it's the only way I could get two ACOG's and a carbine for under $2200.00.

Well, do you guys treat all new guys as spammers? Seriously?

No,if I did, you'd be gone.Your question was strange.$1100 optic on a $200 gun. This is the kind of question a spammer would pose and then not respond anymore in the thread. It's a form of fishing to see if we'll catch it quickly. We don't like spammers aroung here and we get a lot of them.

While I'm sure it is doable, it would be odd to say the least. ACOG's are pretty specialized optics. What are you planning to do with your Hi Point? There are MANY better options than an ACOG for the vast majority of shooters and most of them cost far less. In the civilian world ACOG's have a very small niche.
