Wife called from pawnee, was reading the paper and it said something about a couple shooting??? And said that they closed it???
Made the trip to the Pawnee range last week. Been going there for about a year and this was the first time the gate was closed, had to hike to the range. There was a lot of debris (shot up TV's and the like) on the range. Maybe they finally closed it down. I hope not but it seemed to be getting worse in the last six months.

i get thru there quite a bit, i'm gonna ask around, if i find out anything i'll post it.
I called the Police station a few days ago and asked about the range. Seems there was a problem with a park user and some shooters (?). Hopefully the city will get everything straightened out and reopen the range soon.
I heard a city guy was deer hunting behind the back stop and got shot or shot someone.
I sure miss it, i had shot there for at least 35 years.
