I have been toying with the idea of going to a professionally instructed firearms class, ala Thunder Ranch, Gunsight, etc, mainly for a handgun course but possibly for a longarms course. Has anyone here been to a type of training like this, and if so, what where the plusses and minuses of the one you attended? I'm not a complete novice, but everyone can use a refreshed on e in a while. Please be sure to be specific in what class/organization you attended and what you liked about it, didn't like, and any thing that you feel was relevant to the validity and practical usefulness of the course.
I'm not trying to start a "mine is better than yours" type thread, just want some honest opinions. Thanks.
