MS, do you do this at your house with your own kettleball equipment or at a gym? How much does that stuff usually run to get what you'd need to get started? Can you buy it locally or do you have to order it?
Thanks.
Sweet! I've noticed that these are too light for doing chest stuff. But they still give me a good pump?! Which I think is weird. The weight of these things is so awkward you use so many more muscle groups to stabilize and I guess my chest is working more than I thought. I do feel it in my chest the next day, so they are doing something there, even for their weight. My forearms are screaming the entire time though and being as that I'm primarily a grappler, I think I'm really going to benefit in that area a ton!
I'll keep your offer in mind. There's still so many exercises that are a strain for me though after just a few reps, I do think these will suffice for a month or so. After that, I do think my body will get stronger in it's weaker areas and I will probably need to move up.
On another note... I love the entire cardio blast these things give me. Each exercise incorporates the entire body and afterwords I feel like I've been hit by a truck. Which is great, because I like the idea of working the body as one unit instead of sitting down and doing a military press or laying on my back and doing a bench press for example. These really work the core at the same time. With grappling, when you can make the body function as one strong unit it improves your technique by leaps and bounds.
Also, to any of you guys that train MMA/Grappling, I'd love to attend if you all have open invitations. And you all are very much welcome at my gym anytime as well.
