Gonna throw this up here on okshooters on the chance that anyone has interest, most of the people on here are the type we actively recruit.

The quick & dirty - 4 slots open on the Adventure Zone(Guthrie) woods-ball team L337 KREW.

This is not a run of the mill paintball team, we are HEAVILY involved in the paintball community & scenario events.

21+ only at this time, Military experience a plus.
We design, coordinate & run the large paintball events at the Adventure Zone paintball field just south of Guthrie.
Free play for life for active members & their children.
Significant discounts on paint & equipment.
Two sponsored paid away games per year, and many other local paintball events attended as a team.
Highly coordinated tactical team play, our 3 man teams took 1st and 2nd place at the 2008 AZ woodsball tournament.
Woods-ball only, no speed-ball.
1 team practice a month (every 2nd Saturday from 8-noon)

You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most highly skilled paintball players alive, man vehicle mounted paintball machine gun turrets, operate anti-tank bazookas, mines & pyrotechnics.

We normally don't openly recruit but have lost several members all at once recently to active duty & law enforcement obligations.

If you've ever wanted to be a part of a big time paintball group, now's your chance.

Founded in 2005, we maintain an active roster of 10, and cannot take more than 4 additional members at this time.

I used to enjoy paintball, now i loathe it...strange....

just a note for those who still like it. Never work at a paintball place.
you'll be sick of the amount of retarded adults and spoiled brat kids who should be beat
and you'll easily be able to pick out the psycho kids...

the scenario aspect of paintball is a completely separate subculture. the idea of a 15 minute game with a bunch of kids is demolished and replaced by 300+ hardened paintball veterans (many of which are adults in their 30-50's) playing multiple 3 hour battles throughout the course of a weekend.

"speedballers" and "woodsballers" are also worlds apart in terms of attitude and what motivates them to play.

you can get a good battle in a speedball game with air bunkers or plywood standups, but you get the heart racing, adrenaline fueled 'thrill of the hunt' from woodsball. i've been playing woodsball pretty religiously for the last 18 years, its more than just a sport, its really a lifelong bond of camaraderie between all scenario woodsballers. if you've every been really into paintball but suffered burnout, trade in your speedball jerseys for a good set of fatigues, look up an event schedule of paintball scenarios in your area and attend one. you might find a renewed love for a side of the sport that you never knew existed.

heres a little video of an event from 2011, its a pretty good representative of a typical scenario. the majority of the video focuses on just one of the "meat grinder" battles, the actual play area is about 25-30 acres.

Tank action @ 3:14 to wet your appetite.
