The guy making the video was the kind of man that if he got within 20 feet of a viagra pill, his neck would stiffen and his face turn red!

1. Did he actually get a citation? 2. Did the police confiscate his firearm?
If the LEO's gave him a ticket, but then let him leave on his own with the weapon still in plain view... it woud seem to me that they weren't to darn worried, nor the public to darn upset.

If you set out to get local law enforcment attention and then actually get it, acting surprised is cowardly. Nobody should be surprised that the cops showed up because they don't have a choice when calls like that come in. Next people will complain that "man with a gun" calls are getting ignored. It's a no win deal and a waste of time and resources. So for you clowns and cowboys that are going to do this kind of crap come November, please try to keep in mind that you end up painting us all the same color when you do this sort of thing... whether you mean to or not.
I second this, it was through a CC in the car thread that I learned to roll down my tinted windows and turn on the interior lights during a traffic stop. Not being a LEO it never occured to me before that the officer would like to see that it is my kiddos in the backseat and not a couple of armed crackheads as he/she is walking up.
I just can't believe he posted it. Only a moron would think that he is proving a point by having the police out talk and embarrass his limited knowledge of the law.
Thats NOT correct ..he was cited for disturbing the normal activity of the park...apparently carrying an ar in open sight is not normal for the park( I didnt think you could carry a rifle anyway...OH its Oregon).

I don't think he was cited for anything. They just educated him and cut him loose from what I could tell. He wasn't carrying a rifle, this time.
