I think companies ought to be fined harshly for hiring illegals but on the otherhand i think every human being has a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, regardless of borders, nationality or race.

Lurk, that I do know, no doubt, my friend and and he is there and have no doubts, I am just disgusted by all of this, understand, friend. And can you imagine how disgusted my friend is? He has to work, supervise and put up with it. He has roots going back to the 1700's in one of the original states. He can't do anything at all, and that is what I am trying to stress here is he can't do anything. Thanks,

Not always the case. My current director of operations use to hold the same title with Pei Wei, they had 7 stores shut down after immigration raid came in and pulled all the BOH employees. This also happened to my area director with Cheddars in Tulsa. My company E-verify's, it took considerably longer to staff store and cost considerably more money but the savings far out way flying cooks in from all over the country to staff these restaurants after immigration is done with them. The vast majority of the restaurants we dine at are sustained by illegal immigrants.

Many OSA members would starve or fit into skinny jeans if they raided them all.

Yep, thats what I thought when I worked at Academy, but unfortunately, Academy didn't feel the same way, said if I didn't like it, I was free to find employment else where.

I rant about the prison time because there is no penalty at present......at least if they are locked up the jobs created by building and staffing the facilities would be OURS....describe a suitable/enforcable penalty and I'm in with you-- until then I will maintain my position....the migrant workers could be issued a 9 month permit that had to be returned in 9 mos in order to get another 3 months later...

It's no big secret that they have been packing 3-4 families into a two bedroom house so they can send more of our money back to Mexico. I do say "our" money because they earned illegally by being here illegally taking our jobs. I guess we don't care anymore because we've moved on to other things now.

One more thing, if they don't like being called "illegal aliens", then why don't they stop being one. Illegal aliens crack me up.

Hell, if I lived in Mexico, I would sneak across the border, seeing as how incredibly easy it is to do. Doesn't some of the blame also reside in the business owners who hire illegal workers? Aren't they actually hurting US workers and the economy? People wouldn't emigrate here if they couldn't find easy work.
