I have a colt 22 that was a great plinker... I recently decided to retire it to the safe since I can't seem to find them online. I replaced it with a ruger MKIII talo edition with a threaded barrel. Just set the sights on it a few days ago, it's a lot of fun. With the suppressor it's going to be me urban pest gun.

I have an anschutz bolt action rifle that I used to shoot 22 silhouette with. Won't 3 state championships with it many years ago. I love that gun, but it doesn't get out much anymore.

There are several more in the heard but my current focus is on my 10/22 td. I sent the barrel off to be threaded and it's going to replace my Ruger SR-22 rifle as one of my INCH guns. I just polished out the trigger and receiver and both are much smoother now. I upgraded the charging handle and mag release. Last I did the autobolt release mod and put on a mice leupold vx1 2x7x28 scope on it. Can't wait till the barrel gets back. It's going to be a lot different than the last time I had it at the range.

Nothing is more fun that shooting at reactive targets with a 22. Very gratifying and inexpensive, far as gun stuff goes, hobby!

I love .22's! My current favorite is my savage mkII BV, I reworked the trigger and bedded it with aluminum tape, it'll shoot under 1/2in at 50yd with CCI Std velocity. Im currently eyeballing a CZ455 or a ruger 22/45 threaded, in the process of getting a suppressor for some fun

Love my S&W MP 15-22 MOE FDE gun. I shoot at least 100-200 rounds through it every time I go to the range. So far it has a gieselle s3g trigger and I'm waiting for primary arms to get more aimpoint micro knock offs in. My most fun gun. Love my ruger 22/45 too! I want to get a Ruger 10/22 during the black friday deal from Dicks, but I've spent too much on guns recently :(

My latest fav is a norinco atd(browning clone). it shoots really good. Have an old single shot remmy targetmaster that holds its own.

I just re-aquirred my old 10-22 that i had since 82. It functions fine but has seen better days accuracy wise. Got a ruger standard pistol thats fun.

Have a couple more but these are my favs.

So what do u guys think the biggest con is when shooting 22 caliber and whats the biggest pro. Feel free to be as honest as necessary.

It is what it is. .22LR is much more of a challenge when it comes to calculating windage and elevation than centerfire rounds, but doesn't do much for recoil training. It's obviously the cheapest thing there is to shoot, but it's not going to leave a huge hole in something.

I have 3 .22 rimfire handguns and 3 rifles.

The best of the lot is the CZ 452 but the most fun to be had is the Taurus model 62 pump rifle and the Ruger Single Six revolver.

Lately I've taken to shooting the Aguila Super Colibri rounds from the Ruger SS from the back porch and it's a lot of fun. :)
