Fat Guys >>> just about everything else. Dunno the gimmick part, in fact I'd say they're the ONLY one in town that does fries right.

Ron's is a staple, Linda Mar is awesome for greasy, Brady Tavern does have a good burger for sure.

More energy goes into the vibe of the place rather then creating better food.

I will never understand why they closed down Johnnies burgers in Tulsa. There are still a few open in OKC metro area I assume. Good stuff in my opinion.

I also like the burgers and fries at kilkenny's

Bixby? There is no question. Scott's.

Haven't been but was wondering how they are doing since re-opening after the deaths of the owners?

Fat Guys is OK.

Haven't tried Five Guys in Tulsa but I've had it at several locations in the South. The best thing is the fries, the burger is mundane, IMO.

If you don't like them I get it. As far as effort, sorry but you're smoking something, name one place listed here that does anything with their fries outside of pull them out of a frozen bag and throw them in a fryer. This aside from all of the aiolis they make, filet burger, peanut butter bacon burger etc.
