Forgive me if this has been covered before, sometimes I don't get around here for a couple weeks or so at a time.

I was having lunch today with my husband at the Jack in the Box at S.W. 19th over in Moore.

Since we eat here fairly regularly I hadn't bothered to check the doors as they were not previously posted.

I looked over while eating to notice that both doors now have a no weapons sticker on them.

I'm currently trying to find out if this is a single store policy or what the deal is.

If anyone has previously contacted them about this or knows if it's for all locations, that would be great.

We have checked with their corporate office just today on the phone, and YES they do ban guns. We are organizing a BOYCOTT against Jack in the Box and their subsidiary Qdoba.

I was already boycotting Jack in the box...because their food really sucks.

@toehanus

This ^^^^^

When they first came to Tulsa, specifically Broken Arrow, I heard about long lines of people and cars. The second store opened at 41st/169 near my office so I checked it out. It blew chunks!!! Twenty-five years ago, I regularly ate at the JITBs in the Phoenix area and they were great. The current version of JITB has lost whatever they had back then, IMO. This posting just adds to how much they blow/suck!!!

I tried ordering a burger at the JITB here in ada once and they couldnt sell me one because all the patties were frozen.
I guess someone did me a favor by not taking them out of the freezer that day.

Ill drive by and see if this one is posted.

@toehanus

Glad I'm not the only one who wanted to post this.

I haven't eaten at a Jack in the Crack, aka S*%# in the Box since like 1988,.. and that was because I was drunk and my friends wanted to go there.

There was a lot of fanfare when the one in Stillwater opened I had never eaten at one before so I gave it a try. It was a complete waste oft caloric intake for the day

Haven't darkened their doors since 1977. I ate there shortly before going to the movies and was within half an inch of barfing my way through Star Wars.

(Toughed it out anyway, I really wanted to see it.)
