Yes, usually they screw up the books with the movie. However, after watching the last 3 seasons of walking dead and then starting the comics last week, I like that it is so different. I can enjoy both without anything being ruined. I am hoping they bring in the old japanese dude. that guy is a badass.

Where are you reading the comics? Online or just ordered the comics?

I've seen the trailer. It looks pretty good.

It does actually look cool, but if they aren't gonna make it like the book why not just give it another title and let it be completely original? Once they bugger up the name with a barely related movie, it screws up all future installments.

Cannot wait. Haven't read the book, but those zombies look inifinitely more interesting and entertaining to watch than the "turkey-shoot" variety on Walking Dead. I'll probably read the book later, much as I did with GoT. As above, it'll be like a whole different installment with the same "theme".
