First you scuff it up by going side to side.
definitely, I didn't make it very rough but you can make it as aggressive as you want. My Magpul rail covers are very course but this is more like fine sand paper.That looks very professional. Great job. (Especially considering you were bored and then posted them on our board.)

I once tried to stipple a A2 pistol grip but I turned out awful. I think it was made of nylon not hard plastic. I guess the plastic Magpul uses works very well with stippling.
Well I just might have to give that a try on some mags once finals are done with. Great video and stipple job.
