That's PB for you. You need to know that north FL and south FL are entirely different. Still a lot of good red blooded Americans in the Panhandle.

Can’t you already call the cops now, without a special hotline number if you think something is up? Without it costing $1 mil…

Something needs to be done about this.

Can’t you already call the cops now, without a special hotline number if you think something is up? Without it costing $1 mil…

The way things are now any phone call you make requiring investigation costs $1MM with all the beuracracy.

Even as a foil hatter, I have to give this one somewhat of a pass; I read the article earlier elsewhere, and started to get irritated by it - until I saw his full comment. The one line is taken out of context:

“We want people to call us if the guy down the street says he hates the government, hates the mayor and he’s gonna shoot him,” Bradshaw said.

Nothing wrong with "hating the government" and "hating the mayor", but it's the "gonna shoot him" part that constitutes a problem. Then I can halfway understand giving someone a call.

That quote leaves out the full comment... something to the effect of "call and report if your neighbor says something like how he hates the government and wants to kill the mayor. It can't hurt to check up on it and send someone to talk to him."

I still find it interesting that he felt the need to mention the hating the government part. It is throwing an innocuous item in with a dangerous one, and attempting to connect the two. Pretty much the same type of BS the SPLC does when they try to associate any sort of anti-leftist view with racism.

FWIW I hate the government.

And whoever the mayor is, he probably deserves it. ;)
