Had a glass of Joel Gott Cab last night with dinner. I quit smoking cigarettes 5 or 6 years ago but I did indulge in a Romeo y Julieta on a trip to St. Marten a couple of years ago. And the last gun I shot was actually a GE Minigun (went to OFASTS last weekend). WHAT A RUSH!

Hey...those particular "vices" aren't for everyone! What's the last thing you shot?

Tonight's choices.

ETA: Oh yeah, most recently fired firearm was Savage .22 (damn critters digging in the flower bed). Most recently worn was Ruger LC9.

Most recent cigar and scotch consumption was Punch Gran Puro Sesenta paired with Caol Ila 12 year.

You know...I'm just now beginning to appreciate some scotches...but definitely not all of them. I had a Glenmorange (sp?) the other night and it wasn't half bad!

Crown Royal neat, Olive Serie "G", 1911

I've only had the Serie V from Oliva and I just couldn't get into it. How's the Serie G compare?

I'm not exactly sure what it is about Patrón I don't like. But I'm also not a fan of Cuervo either. Which is kind of strange considering many of my go-to cigars have strong peppery tones.

In tequilas, I'm a big fan of Cazadores Resposado. A bonus is if using it in mixed drinks like margaritas, you can use a little more if someone doesn't like a strong tequila taste but wants a stronger drink. It blends into the background pretty well.

There's nothing wrong with a little Cazadores. If you're looking for a tequila with a slight peppery tone that's backed up by a nice full body, I highly reccomend picking up a bottle of El Diamante del Cielo. It's spendy, but it's SO worth it. You'd have liked the San Lotano Habano I think. It was kinda peppery and that's not my usual cup of tea.

Cuervo makes me break out in handcuffs....

Well done.
