Lookin forward to Saturday! Been practicing offhand shooting and feel a little more comfortable. Although I may be the only guy showing up with a bolt-action rifle. I'm thinking most folks will carry AR's and Glocks. Any other Bolt guys out there? My greatest hope is this is as fun as it sounds and there will be a lot more events like this in Oklahoma.

Winter Mil-Surp Run N Gun....funny, I was just talking with the wife about a winter version. You never know around here, though - you could schedule it for Jan 30, and get 75 degree day. Maybe someone in NW Oklahoma with lots of land might host.....

Just realized that unloading and showing clear would be a pain in the rear with an M1 Garand....hmmm. Time to look for other options. Can an M1A be considerd milsurp, LOL.

Anyway, back to tomorrow! I found a blog from a guy in Texas who has been training for this by running with a water filled piece of PVC tubing to simulate his rifle and a weight vest etc...I'm suddenly feeling under-trained!

I'll be the fat guy stumbling with a beat up iron sighted AK, G26, old 5.11 "I've got a gun" photog vest, and mags falling out of every pocket. Are there defibs hanging on all the trees?
