I listen to my wife----when she gets my attention first. When listening, I look at her and give both verbal and non-verbal clues that I am very interested in what she has to say. When she is finished talking, I turn away and completely disregard whatever it was she was just talking about and do things my way. This allows her the opportunity to say, "Well, I told you.....(whatever)" when it turns out that my way was wrong after all.....which turns out to be most of the time.

If my wife is smarter than me on a subject I will listen to her and take her advice into consideration.
And yes BB is right, leaving meds in a broiling hot car is bad juju for sure.
Unfortunately I have been taking meds for years and years, and that is one of the things you pick up on as you unwillingly learn about them.

Having been married for over 45 years, yes I do listen to her. I even do what she want the majority of time. Some times we discuss it in great detail and most of the time we reach a mutual understanding. Sometimes we just agree to disagree.

My wife just told me the other day to get my meds out of the car...it gets too hot.

I don't have a navigator or GPS, I have a nagigator with PMS! Seriously, that woman argues with me about everything, even though she knows I'm almost ALWAYS right! But when it comes to legal, insurance or health care matters, I bow to her superior knowledge.
I respect what my wife has to say with regards to medical stuff. She went to school for it and knows more than me for sure.
She listens to me about fixing/building anything. Grill is mine, everything else cooking is hers.
In areas where we both have no clue WTH we are talking about we brainstorm and try and come up with something sensible, but even that usually results in a learning experience.

I do listen to her, we both have our areas that we each know more about and rely on each others info, almost 20 years married now so I guess it's working! The irony here in this thread is that she's a pharmacist, I'll give GC a break though and won't ask her!

I listen for the first twenty seconds then my ADD kicks in and I have to guess at the answers. Sometimes I get it right
