I sincerely don't think I've ever read anyone unhappy with their Ruger 1911. I'd checker the front strap, add a one piece Nighthawk magwell, and call it good if it were mine.

yes and yes
I will start with the magwell
I shot 100 rounds thru it so far with no compliant
I even scored some 200 gr lead bullets and some 230 gr plated round nose bullets
This being my first 45 I am now ready to start reloading had dies that came with the Dillon RL450/550B everything but the frame has been upgraded
