Auto loaders that cycle CCI .22lr quiets

I recently discovered my Browning SA22 action will cycle this ammo(no manually ejecting and chambering a round).

Anybody else had any luck with other semi-auto rifles cycling CCI 22lr quiets?

No hard fact or eye witness from myself but the old man that taught me to handload says his remington 550 (I think 550, the one that is able to shoot S, L, and LR) is good and clean it will cycle the quiet stuff and the quiet shorts generally. Being a model designed to handle shorts and such I believe it would.

I just use my henry lever action, remington 512 bolt action or 14" .22 tc contender pistol. If I need to use the quiet stuff I'm trying not to disturb the neighbors so no real need for rapid fire, just one or maybe two shots....but if needed I can "John Wayne" the Henry :fullauto:

You could get a short kit for a 10/22. It would have the short magazine too.

I am just curious about others who might have tried this .22lr ammo in their semi-autos just to see if it would cycle or not. It will in my Browning, but not in my 10/22. I had heard that Remington 550's and 552's will cycle them.

Anybody tried them in their Marlin 60's, or 795's? How about those Remy 597's or Savage 64's? Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22's? Or.... gulp, even Mossberg 702's or 715's?

I swear my benjamin 392 air rifle makes more noise than these CCI 22LR quiets!

My SA-22 paired with this ammo may have just become my go to stealth hunting small game critter getter and my go to discreet pest control device considering the quiet operation and ability for a quick follow up shot in case of operator error.

I've tried this in my 597 and it won't cycle it, though I found that remington subsonics cycle just fine. The remingtonsdon't really seem to be any louder, but every now and then I've gotten one that was a little hot and had the sonic crack.

I use the CCI CB shorts in my browning. I have the browning that shoots shorts only and they will work fine as long as I keep it clean. It seems to me that it's quieter than my RWS 22 caliber air rifle.

I've tried them in a S&W 15-22 with no luck, if its clean most of the time it will eject but not far enough to strip a new round.

I can run those CCI quiets in my 10/22, it cycles pretty well, maybe 2% or less FTE. I've got a 16in bull barrel on it.
