I would highly recommend Karen Carmichael tulsawillsandtrusts.com. 918-493-4939. She completed a very good NFA trust for me. It is extremely flexible and detailed. She worked with a group of attorney's that came together nationwide to create the best NFA trust. I personally think they succeeded.

I have reviewed dozens of NFA trusts and none have come close to the one I received from Karen. Most are only a few pages and they do not address many of the NFA related issues. They might work for ATF approval but could come back to haunt you in the future. One example would be: if for some reason you move out of Oklahoma. Does the trust have provisions that are in compliance with other states? Can you add temporary trustees? The trust I received from Karen comes in a complete portfolio with an amazing level of flexibility and detail. It comes with very detailed instructions. It was created by an entire team of attorneys. Many of which specialized in firearms related law. Probably not the cheapest but you will get what you pay for. When it comes to NFA items I decided I would not take any chances.

That sounds like a great one. Want to give us a little insight/ballpark price range one would be looking at?

Honestly havent done anything, shortly after I posted this inquire the government shut down; and turned my attention into IWI Tavor. I was interested in a SBR and the Tavor fits the bill, without the waiting period.

This is kind of the way I've been leaning; trying to find legal alternatives to dealing with the NFA paperwork, tax stamp, waiting period, and other red tape. To mention nothing of the additional delays I'd experience trying to sell an NFA-restricted item.

I'd like to get some more info on the costs as well... I'm going to be doing this, but it seems when everyone talks about anything they are hesitant to mention money. I just don't know if I'm looking at $3-400, or closer to $1000, or $2000?
