YHM are heavy, but for the price, it's something to consider. Naturally persons are going to trash em, but most owners have been more than happy for the monies spent.

If you want more potential to cover other Cals - and your likelihood of not being able to have several cans….GET A 30 cal can to cover 223/6.5/6.8/7.62x39/308……………sure it might not be ideal, but will be nice when you have the flexibility to run it on your stockpile. Again, not the most ideal, but something to strongly consider for a tight budget and doing things once.

I agree. YHM is good bang for the buck. The weight is my only complaint.

Depends on the model, I guess. I have a YHM 7.62 Phantom Ti that is only 15 oz.

So does the can for 30 caliber really quiet a 223/556 we'll?

While there is some loss of efficiency, probably not enough to be too noticeable. The benefits will far outweigh a slight decibel increase. The bullet's supersonic speed will be more noticeable than anything else but that will be true with either can.
