Amputations typically don't bleed that much. If completing severed the veins constrict and close themselves off.

You mean arteries. Yes, the arteries will often spasm and minimize bleeding. It's actually pretty cool to see. Repairing an injury like that is very difficult, as it's a "distraction" injury that pulls/rips the vessels longways until they tear, often shredding them. "Simple" chop or cut injuries are usually much easier.

And for all the guys who were having trouble with the left/right issue and making a left hand look like a right hand... either think back to college chemistry or go read up on enantiomers. ;)

So because you saw the pics, you need the MJ? Or are you seriously thinking of doing this to your arm? Cause I want video dang it!

I'll bring zip ties.................I've got EagleMed at the top of my favorites on my cell phone too!

Well if we are filming, we should be ok. Just like in the movies, massive amounts of arterial blood are sprayed everywhere, (non stop, instead of with every heart beat) and the person is OK later in the movie.

Either ... I'd share with the poor guy if he was sitting next to me on the couch ... Hell, I might even let him bogey for a while ... :rollingla

And you boys ain't right ... :naughty: :rollingla

We had a guy killed in the 80's when his apron got caught in the lead screw, and pulled him into the lathe. His entire body got wasted as it was a big lathe. This guy got lucky.

PTO's on tractors have killed/maimed lots of people. Rotating machinery is not to be taken lightly.

That is how my ex's grandma died. She got killed by a PTO powered post hole digger on a tractor. And as for the pics all i can say is ouch.

****, that photo is nothing. I went to a wreck where the driver’s body parts where all over the road. The medical examiner was rolling up the drivers intestines around his arm like an extension cord. I was amazed at the vehicle debris and body parts scattered about.
