Since we are on the subject of academy and I didnt wanna hijack dog's thread i'll start my own. I was at the 81st academy last week and I got into a conversation with an older man behind the gun counter. Apparently the Dongs employees are banned from there because they stand outside and offer everybody who buys .22lr to double their money on it.

I actually got a decent deal on a 10/22 I had been looking for at dongs. But when I asked if they had 22 I almost gave the gun back. 99 bucks for federal 550. Asshats they are.

This signature is illegal in California

They have a serious attitude problem at Dong's. And it's actually the name of the former owner, a Vietnamese guy, who I believe passed away a while back.

I overheard the manager telling the guys back at the gun counter not to be hiding discounted merchandise so they could buy it cheap and re-sell it themselves. He called it stealing from his customers. The gun counter guys may not always know whats up, but at least the manager is trying to take care of customers. Dongs= zero customer service & bad attitudes.
