Gulfport Seafood, they get it shipped in and you can get it same day if I remember correctly otherwise the day after. It's been awhile since I've been there so might be worth a call. I'm referring to crawfish, I don't know if they get boudin.

:angry3: Frozen crawfish!!!

Hey, you do what you've gotta do. Is frozen the best? Hell no. Will it work to get us some étouffée? Yes, so that's how we roll.
I think coming up soon they have a crawfish boil at one of the supermarkets, we went around this time last year. I'll keep an eye out for it.
The guys bring em up from Louisiana too btw.

There are live crawdads at the Vietnamese market near 23rd and Classen in OKC. Not sure the best day so I would call.

This right here. And...Boudin from the Best Stop in Scott, La. (google'em) They'll ship it in dry ice. Expensive, but soooo worth it. Andouille from there is the best. I usually bite the bullet and get a bunch once a year. The Boudin and Andouille both freeze well.

The Beef Jerky Emporium has a pretty wide cajun selection(frozen). Though I haven't tried any of it, except for the Andouille(which was pretty good). I believe the brand is hebert's cajun food.

I get my boudin from there and it is good stuff. doesn't matter how you cook it. their stuffed shrimp and crab cakes are also pretty good.

Their's a cajun restaurent in midwest city on 29th, I think it was Crawfish Daddy, not as good as Louisiana, but not to bad.

I've been by there several times....its never been open! wth!?

on a related note....The Bayou Bakery and Grill in Edmond is pretty good, it's no nawlins fresh, but they relocated here after Katrina, so they know there stuff. They could probably help you in your quest if BJE doesn't fit the bill.
