Cajun king off 63rd has decent crawfish as does the shack on memorial. Boudin this far north isn't that good that I've tried. I get some from time to time from a friend in east Texas that's pretty good though. And buy for less on 63rd will have crawfish for sale sometime this spring. They cook them in the parking lot. Always buy a few lbs when they do.

The Shack has awesome cajun food. Never tried their mud bugs yet but everything I have tyres was great! Huge oysters and half priced durring happy hour. One in Norman and one on memorial. The original location burned last year and they are rebuilding it I think. Its on 63rd by western just east of the RR tracks.

The one in Norman closed some time ago, not long after it opened.

But I am not looking for a restaurant.

Went to a crawfish boil not long ago....im hooked. It was awesome!!! What kind of seasoning is typically used?

We used to do some mighty tailgates at OSU games and had a regular cajun boil. I really liked Zatarain's Boil seasoning in a bag, not the oil. One word of caution. Yes, it smells good but never put your face to it and inhale. Your face will burn off. Cozey's Meat Market in Mustang also makes a great Andouille.
