Hiding from all you crazy people!!!
Never understood the concept of scuba in Oklahoma lakes.

Actually there are lots of good reasons to dive here. We used to use our SCUBA for noodling, plus we spear fished a lot on Tennkiller. There's a dive park on the lake that has a sunken school bus, plane and helicopter you can swim through and around as well.
I've dove Beaver some too. Nice lake with great visibility. Found out the first time that a 3/2 suit isnt a great idea though. First thermocline and it gets pretty chilly even in the middle of summer. I'd take a 7mil for sure.
The island Dennis mentioned is ok to dive around too, but there rally isn't much there. Plus the last time I dove it my boat got pretty chewed up from being pushed up on the rocky bank.
Speaking of boating it.....
It's a big empty feeling in your stomach when you take off across that lake and look down at the depth finder and see 235ft!

OK, so we have a thread about diving into Beaver, fishing for strippers, AND some prefer noodling.

Seems about right.

For the record, it is probably a good idea to wash your strippers in salt water to clean up the bacteria before eating. Though I am not sure why you would want to do such a thing, bottom feeders are unclean.

Yeah most strippers are filthy. You must take them out back for a good washing.

I have a water hose connected at my well house for washing my dirty hoes up. This is probably where I would clean up my strippers too.

You have to be careful when you go stripper fishing, especially if you prefer noodling. You shove your fist into a hole and you could get hit by a snapper, and that is not good.

If you want to get really good Beaver diving, you need to learn the ABCs of diving. That is usually a successful dive if can get your ABCs licked....

I saw this picture the other day and your post reminded me of it.
