I am getting started reloading and need to know if I can install primers in Lake City 308 Brass with my standard reloading tools. I have seen something about military Primer Pockets being different but not sure how that effects everything.

They have a crimp that needs to be removed the first time. After that they are the same as commercial brass. You will use standard tools once crimp is removed. I am on my phone at the moment, but somebody will link a primer crimp removal tool before long.

If you don't want to spend any money you can do it the old fashioned way.
For like 80 years before they came up with those swaging tools, you just gave 1 or 2 twists with your RCBS or Lee case mouth deburring tool.
