Go to Lanbosarmory.com. You can get 10 rd pmags for just over $11 + shipping. I had mine in 2 days. I cut a synthetic wine cork to use as a block and reduce the mag to 7 rounds. The synthetic cork isn't affected by the weather and does not rattle.

It's been a while (like maybe 45 years) since I last hunted, and that was in the Pacific Northwest, so I hope you all will forgive a possibly silly question. Is there a capacity limit when deer hunting here or what? If so, what is it; five rounds?

7 rounds for anything 22 caliber, and that puts 223/556 in the group. Any other larger caliber no limit. 9mm is also not allowed. I did some calling to the Wildlife Dept. The 10 round mags with the 5 round limiter are legal to use. As long as no more than 7 rounds can be loaded, it is good to go.
