Well, and this is because I'm an AK guy toying with an AR, but the first Battlemag I pulled out of the box, I broke the floorplate. Disassembling to take off the pink pull tab, I broke off one of the little ears. Not a fan of the way these floorplates work. Did manage to not break the other two...
Thought I'd better stop in and give Troy Industries some props. Sent them an e-mail asking about ordering just a floorplate since I had broken one. Never did hear back, but now, what...2 weeks later, I received a set of 2 new floorplates, and one new Battlemag. With no pink. So for a broken part on a $5 mag, I ended up with another mag, and a working $5 mag. Well played, Troy. Well played.
