saw a you tube vid of one shooting all over a target, so clearly more like a lead hose, rather than useful tool. I am not above many toys, but real question is, are they worth the money and will they stay together?
Had one a few years back. Loud as ever. I put a Noveske flaming pig on it to throw all that noise downrange. I really don't miss it, but is a decent truck gun.
I shot one at an indoor range not long ago. The muzzle blast was excessive, especially if you weren't directly behind the gun. It goes off (indoors, anyway) like a stun grenade.
I have one. It is as inherently accurate as the rifle version... it is probably 3 MOA capable at the very least... it is just hard to maintain that kind of accuracy from a standing position with no stock to brace against your shoulder and rest your head on. You can do a lot better from prone, monopodding on the mag. I also have the .22 rifle version with the underfolding stock. Interesting fact... the "lower" with the trigger pack and stock are interchangeable between these firearms with the removal of a pin and a couple screws.
Is it worth a dang? I guess that depends on what you expect it to do. I have mine for a very specific purpose... packing rifle firepower and armor penetration capability in as small of a package as possible, that will fit under a winter coat or inside a file bag or laptop case, for use at fairly close range. The only time it would ever be practical would be if I need to go Michael Collins.
