Anybody know what Sterling brand 40 round mags for the AR-180/AR18 are worth these days? Not seeing anything recent on Google or Gunbroker that gives me a decent starting point. These are the steel one with the notch out on either side so they fit the AR-15 also.

They may be worth a few extra dollars to a collector but, there a are a lot of AR mags that were modified by 180 owners and I don't see a demand. When the short-lived AR-180B was introduced, one of the best improvements was that it used regular AR mags. It's been been years since I've seen an actual 180 at the range

I've got a couple of 180s. Are you looking to get rid of them? If so I might be interested. I haven't bought mags for them in years, so I can't help with price info.

Larry, I have one hanging on the wall just for you. It even has the drum! Next time you're in town call me.

Back on point, yeah they were always expensive and hard to get. They made less than 20,000 commercial guns and the mag thing kinda killed it among other things. They remind me of Harley parts. HD stands for "hundred dollars" even though some parts are made in China. (Japan in the case of the AR-180.)
