Dogs and cats, living together, mass hysteria. Seriously, if houses start to get damaged and/or crumble from these earthquakes, isn't it about time to start knocking on the doors of the energy barons?
Well if it helps, all those new cracks and damage is going to help the oil/gas industry's economy. Be a good corporate socialist and hush with all your earthquake whining.

I wonder how much longer this whole mess will go on before the O&G industry admits they probably are causing the quakes. Perhaps if one of the CEO's mansions is leveled by a big temblor?
Up to a point. If this trend continues, the accumulated effect of all these smaller quakes will cause more damage - over time - than a big quake. It's the lower profile of each small quake that doesn't have anyone in power up in arms about the increase in frequency. As long as the quakes remain small, the O&G industry and the politicians that pander to them will continue to try and dissemble and discourage the direct linking of the quakes to the O&G injection activity. If there's a big one in the near future - and some seismologists are predicting one in the 6+ range - then these parties will see a surge of opposition.
