LaRue slings come with QD mounts. Padded and adjustable. Late to the show...
IWC is a solid company. They make great products and ship quickly. My rifle has that same QD attachment on a MI Gen I SS forend. I have a Blue Force padded sling and like it a lot. I use and recommend MI swivels, as well.
I ran the last Pawnee Run'n'Gun with one of those homemade VTAC knockoffs, and I was very happy with it--extremely versatile for both carry and shooting.

I went ahead and bought 2 VTACs for my ARs and that sparked a buying frenzy. I did my best to color match the foliage green sling and did my pistol grip, offset sights, and charging handle latch just cause. I took in the billet loki on a trade and now prefer it to the other one. Now I just need to practice. Thanks everyone for the help

Well folks It was kindly pointed out to me in a PM that I have the slings on backwards haha I cant help but to be a nerd I guess. I was watching an install video while putting them on and I guess I just had to have the padded section towards the muzzle like a traditional rifle/sling setup. gobber
