So far I have only seen people told to suck it up and let people live like other people do. Apparently that is offensive to some Christians more than most. Claiming persecution when there are no acts of persecution. So people can have an abortion, how does that affect you? Gay couples can be married, how does that affect you? Neither do. But I'll keep laughing at the nutbags until God decides to rain judgement upon our country (still waiting on him to hit those other heathen countries).

Somehow I fail to understand how a cross can be so offensive to some people. TV preachers are one thing but a cross on a hill placed there to recognize WWII veterans that has been in place for decades is castigated and a hue and cry from liberals to remove the cross is louder each passing day. I don't see the reasoning, the cross is inanimate.
On the other hand, people accept some guy in his underwear playing a guitar in Times Square as freedom of speech and acceptable. The Confederate flag is just a piece of cloth to me but to some Southerners it's an important symbol. It doesn't bother me to see that flag but it kills certain people. It's a mixed up world.

It's all about PC, and PC is just one of many means toward an end. That end is subjugation. No other end fits.

Under the guise of righting wrongs "outraged" protestors have the fun of tearing things down and feeling righteous.
Not only is being a crusader an ego boost, being offended is a new form of free enterprise: advocacy groups can pull in big money.

Anyone remember Alexander Solzhenitsyn? He said something about the Soviet Union that is increasingly applicable to our country:

"Over half a century ago while I was still a child, I recall hearing a number of older people offer the following explanation for the great disasters that had befallen Russia: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all of this has happened.' Since then I have spent well-nigh 50 years working on the history of our revolution; in the process I have read hundreds of books, collected hundreds of personal testimonies, and have already contributed 8 volumes of my own toward the effort of clearing away the rubble left by that upheaval. But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous revolution that swallowed up some 60 million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.'" And so too the forgetfulness of modern man continues to take him further and further from God and closer to the jaws of disaster and the pit of destruction."

Dale00, when man has every gadget he wants, has a good paying job, home, vacations annually, bonuses etc he is all powerful and doesn't need God. On the other hand like during WWII when times were hard, loved one we're going off to fight in Europe and the Pacific theaters, people turned to God and needed Him desperately. And work was an honorable profession. Even FDR led the nation in prayer.
Our country has turned away from God, people have no respect for parents nor authorities. Crime has increased, our police are threatened and shot, our political figures are rife with corruption, work is not necessarily a good thing, our President encourages a "loose" society, drugs are used by a lot of our population and I could go on but is a result of shunning God. There is a reason for The Ten Commandments, it keeps a society in check.
