What's your trigger point?

Despite the clown-shoes participants, this Oregon stand-off has been enlightening and thought provoking. They put out a "call to arms" and, statistically, nobody showed up.

Despite reams of Internet postings, threats, promises, diatribes and proclamations, people did not follow the path of our forefathers. They did not leave their jobs, homes and families to stand with the Bundy Bros and "Buddha" in Oregon.

So, that has me thinking. When or what would be trigger enough to get me to grab the kit which stands ready in the closet? Who would I have to see go first to motivate me? What would motivate me to go first? Still pondering that.

What would be your trigger point?

Forced disarmament, a la Katrina style. More likely to go 2A because of "citizen uprising" - looting, a la Katrina, Baltimore, LA, etc...

The writings of Solzhenitsyn on this topic are worth considering. He was a a leading critic of Soviet communism who became a Christian while imprisoned and fighting cancer.

I'd have to agree with this. No ones taking my guns while I'm still breathing and have a full magazine.

It involves soap boxes and ballot boxes and due process of law and basic human rights like the right to self defense. Who would have to lead ? Well educated, successful people who have everything to lose.

I think I figured out my trigger point after hearing those assholes are still calling for more "patriots" to head to Burns.

I plan to retire in a small town out west somwheres. Probably nearby to a bunch of federal land. Well, I plan to be there before retirement but that's no matter.

If I ever live in a county with a population smaller than the town I grew up in after a lifetime of being a poor overworked idiot, and a group of fat ass mormon freaktard superpatriots show up toting rifles and streaming to YouTube wearing diapers and yelling at Chris Christie in the middle of my peace and quiet, I think that's when I'd head out the door with my rifle and healthy dose of rage.

God forbid I ever draw into a controlled hunt on federal land and some of these freaks are "occupying" it and the hunt gets cancelled. Talk about a trigger point.
