i thought 47% of americans didnt pay fed income tax at all?
If what I read is true then the top 15%, about half of the 32% of above middle class, pays from 20% down to next to nothing, while the other 17% of the upper class pay from 50% to 20%. That then would make it roughly about 49% who likely dont pay much if any? Then that makes the middle class and the upper middle class the major bearers of the tax burden?

IMHO, of all the candidates in the race, you can only count on two of them to do, or at least try, what they're saying, and those are Bernie and Cruz. Neither of them care if it hare-lips half the country--they're telling you straight up what they're going to try to do once they're in office.

Basically agree.

Gang of 8/Amnesty made it impossible for me to support Rubio in the primary, which sucks, because I still like him, and think he'd have run away with this thing if not for his betrayal on immigration, which is an existential-level issue for conservatives today.

Voting for Cruz today. Will vote for the GOP nominee in the general.

I voted for Cruz, didn't feel good about it, but it was really the only option that I felt had a shot at winning that I could stomach. Trump is full of crap, I have long said he is just saying what he needs to in order to get the nom, either that or he really doesn't want to win. I still don't know which. I don't like Cruz, and I think Trump is going to take the day anyway.

As for the party, they have pulled out all the stops today to try and hurt Trump's chances, I have not seen anything like this in my 40 years on the earth. The entire party is railing against Trump, which partly has me wanting him to win, but I also kind of think he is the actual anti-Christ, so I didn't vote for him.

I am pretty sure it will be Trump v Hillary, which means I am voting for Drumpf. If it is Sanders v Drumpf, I really don't know. I just really don't.
