Strangest holster ever?

I just got an email from the NRA Store which contains one of the strangest holsters I've ever seen--a real Bubba holster! I'd post a picture but I can't get it to sizer down so I'll leave the link to the lisitng in the NRA Store:

Not a good idea, if you are in an accident the pistol becomes a projectile.

Would have bigger things to worry about (like the bottle of whiskey).

Seems to be a bit safer than to have it laying in the seat or bench next to you. I keep mine in the console when I'm driving my truck. Wifes little Honda will not hold a 1911 in the console though.
