You might mention your issue on their Facebook page. Seems like doing that these days gets a pretty decent response from a lot of companies.

Yeah... a deletion. lol

They had the chance to address the issue and apparently are unconcerned, so much so that they still have the misleading and false ad up, no?

You talked to my employee, yes we both have the name Jared. I made this listing awhile back and it was supposed to run for a week. I got caught up in dealing with the break in we had, having to take care of normal operations which is all me when it comes to the advertising, accounting, parts ordering, etc. and on top of that working with the ATF, doing a full self audit, and detectives from here to Edmond, along with the insurance company over the break in. In short what I'm saying with that we don't have the man power Academy or Walmart has and its a lot to deal with. My employee was unaware of the 10-20% storewide add I had posted awhile back that was supposed to run for a week but I neglected to take it down with all the other things going on and honestly forgot about it nor did I mentioned it to the employee which I understand is my fault. I made the add to try and generate some business back then when we really needed it due to the break in. Im human, but Im not a liar and our track record dictates otherwise. This is more of a miscommunication issue and can/could be dealt with differently. Instead of making a phone call it would have been much better for you to come in and speak with me in person, and even better had you had my employee pull up that add when you were purchasing it if that was the add you were referring to. Below is a screenshot of the date it was posted just for proof that we weren't lying about the post date. I don't know why Armslist shows it posted on that date. It was brought to my attention and refreshed my memory after your phone call and I pulled it down. All in all if you want to push the reset button on this and talk with me personally about it here we can do that and I will honor the add at 20% which is more than the 10% that it would have been at the time. Im not in the business of lying or making customers upset, but ill need your understanding in the matter and cooperation on setting things straight. Its your call. Thank you and hope the matter can be resolved and apologize for the misunderstanding. Jared Harshaw. Have a good day everyone.

Just saying, but this is probably the add mentioned:

http://www.armslist.com/posts/51024...gun-parts-for-sale--storewide-10-20--off-sale

So it would seem if you closed your original down, someone relisted it.

Yea I've noticed other listings that were multiple listings of the same add put in other categories that I didn't do. Not really sure what is going on there with it other than maybe when you pay to be a premium vendor they do this for you to push your add. I just looked and the deactivated original shows to be placed in the NFA area and not Gun parts. Now I see in my active listings a duplicate that isn't deactivated in the Gun Parts category. Which I just deactivated. The pictures are even different, I recall the one with the storefront shown in the images because I think that is how the guy that broke in found us, but I dont recall the other one which in that case that is actually the original with the storefront. In any case I wasn't aware there were two which would be the reason there was one still up. I can screenshot that if you guys want, it shows a duplicate with the same post date just different photos...

$40 to you might not be $40 to others. honor the ad if you advertise it

Might want to read the thread entirely. If it's everything, he shouldn't be buying $200 handguards..... which he admits. Vendor also stated that the ad being rerun on armslist is a mistake..... big surprise eh?
