When it comes to movies, TV, and music, I typically find myself extremely underwhelmed with those which are hyped up. How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, etc.. everyone but me loves those shows. I find them completely unfunny and predictable. Because of this, I avoided Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, the former of which until after the series finale had ended and everyone was over it. I will say that Breaking Bad is absolutely one of the most exciting entertainment experiences of my life. Throughout the entire series, there was one episode, maybe 2 that my wife and I both felt "meh" about, but other than that, it was suspenseful and insane throughout the vast majority of its run.
I avoided TWD because I don't really dig the whole zombies thing, but many people told me it's not really about zombies. Now that I've watched it, I see what they mean, so if you've ever avoided Breaking Bad because you think it's about meth, it's as much about meth as TWD is about shooting zombies.
Either way, Breaking Bad is my vote.

Yes, BB was good. I kinda jumped in while my wife was watching it so I'd have to go back and start from the beginning to get caught up. I think it was season 2 episode 1 & 2 that I watched where "Tuco" died at the end.
TPB was good, kinda dumb funny show.
TWD was ok but I was watching it off and on with my wife so I didn't catch every one.

Trailer Park Boys Seasons 1-7 are pretty good. I'd watch it again if for no other reason to learn all the Rickyims.
Breaking bad gets my vote.
My opinion in breaking bad is there's one episode in season 3 called the fly, that one was the worst in the season. It could be skipped and not notice that you did.

I saw all of the BB episodes when they were new but still watch em on NF here and there, fave show ever. Ive been a TPB fan like forever, the movies and the series shows, love em, Ive even seen their live shows. I would start from the beginning and watch em all. Some funny stuff. (News flash: Mike Smith/Bubbles got busted over the weekend for domestic battery and now the chick that plays Lucy has resigned from the show because of it...).

Another one of my favs is Hell On Wheels. Great show. I'm gonna start at the beginning of Better Call Saul as soon as I find some time for a marathon...lol
