I have seen LGS used as an acronym for Local Gun Shop for many years in many places. Maybe that is because when I am on a gun forum, I usually read and post about firearms and not just controversial "hot topics ".
I agree with the OP (that's Original Poster for the acronym challenged) that most LGS owners/employees have bad attitudes, with very few exceptions.

RTFM I specified LGS was not one of the WEs, I simply chose this time to call attention to the issue as DH still can't figure the abbreviation out. He does have CRS, tho, IIRC, so TTFWIW. And SMD.

Bad attitude is required of LGS owners in order to stay in business. Dong's, Sportsworld, Tulsa Firearms,Sooner and most others.
