Submitted mine on 3/14/16 and I emailed yesterday was told that they do not have my application yet, and that they are so backed up that it is taking 4 to 6 weeks just to process applications into OSBI's system.

Does that mean the 90 days starts after they process my application in?!? Or from when my sheriff's office sent them the application?

Its 90 days from when they start reviewing the app....they always estimate it at 4-6 weeks......then it starts......

Nothing in the mail yet but I'm also waiting on a paper from another .gov agency and I'm on day 12 of the process they said. They said it takes up to 6 weeks so I don't know if it's 5 day work weeks or how they are counting days.

Got my letter from the osbi saying I need the born abroad paper, they said I have 30days or run the risk of denial. Called the department of state they said I am 2 weeks in and it takes 2-4 weeks (website and phone system) but the guy on the phone said it could take 6 weeks. So I am pushing the limits. I happened to be near the osbi and asked them they said I don't have a time limit but the letter says otherwise, so I placed a call into them to see what they have to say about that.

This is some what my fault for not having the paper (it's in my mothers possessions somewhere) and not looking into if I needed it for the sda. But it's frustrating because I have a few other licenses from the state and they do not care if I'm a citizen or not.
