I live about 10 Miles from Wagoner, and I have to agree.

Little tidbit: Wagoner, OK was the first incorporated city West of the Mississippi River. It seems they almost intentionally stopped any progress, expansion, or modernizing since the 70's, wanted to stay a small town. They got what they wanted, along with one Wal-Mart and that has just about shut the rest of it down. Heard more than 50% of the school kids are on the Gov. assisted lunch program. They recently got a new Burger King and a new Quick Trip will be opening soon for the highway traffic.

We usually drive 40 min to the BA area or in to Tulsa to get things we need rather than shop at the Wagoner Wall-Marts still small sized store with limited products, not any other options around here.

I lived 5 miles South of Downtown Owasso growing up. Wow, what a difference in city planning makes.

As a halfway resident of claremore I can agree. Especially if you look on the claremore complaints forum on facebook. I think it could be all the trains that have people stressed. oh, and the electric bills are sky high.

DeerAssassin, I am regrettably on that 60 hour week bandwagon also in Tulsa metroplex. So is my middle son working his posterior off fixing Cox's poor cable installs and doing new ones. He has lost a ton of weight & rarely gets to eat his lunch. Sometimes he does not get home in Wagoner till after 11pm on a day shift job. Crazy thing is my oldest son wants to work for the same outfit but a Lanscaping business run by a former aquaintenance has taken a liking to him.
