KD wants a ring. He recognises that joining GS is an easy way to get one. The Thunder ownership and management have made some highly questionable decisions over the past couple of years. That certainly didn't make KD's decision any harder.
I would have been shocked if he stayed in OKC. He'll be moving to a much bigger market where he can grow his brand even bigger. What's wrong with that. He doesn't owe Oklahoma anything. This is a business move. Durant seems like a good guy, and he's making a great business decision. Good luck Kevin. Go Thunder.
It's bad for OKC business though which is all OKC fans are concerned about just like any other "investor". It is what it is, but fans have every right to be upset. It's very disappointing and is likely going to lead to a downhill spiral for he organization.
