The Embassy, which was being attacked is under the direct authority of the Secretary of State. It is proper routing for the "offer of assistance" be sent to the Secretary of State. It was her call as to whether or not Military assistance was required or requested, unless or until overridden by POTUS.
The Pentagon did everything correctly, Hillary did not.
It doesn't matter what Hillary does, Obama's AG is not going to prosecute or prefer charges-it's a done deal. If anything else surfaces you can bet the farm she'll skate on whatever she did as well as long as Obama is in office.
If I remember correctly, an Army Major found out that some American troops were going to be attacked by ISIS and he emailed "someone" of the planned attack which was over his personal server and he was removed from active duty. Because no one heeded his "security risk" message, the attack took place and American troops did die.
Hillary did far worse and got by with it with all her security maneuvering on her personal servers. Someone needs to apologize to the Major and reinstate him.
Although the possibility of Hillary being in the Oval Office is troublesome, I fear we are in worse trouble if Obama continues to being Syrian "refugees" into this country. He has an affinity toward muslims and by bringing them sans background checks (how are they going o even do a background check in a war-torn country?) with the head of the CIA stating that ISIS members will be among them-how are we going to have a stable country? It will be bad, look at European countries that allowed them entrance. And Obama and Hillary wants to take our guns?????

I think the wrong question is asked.
I think that we should ask, "why did anybody have to tell Obama, Paneta or Hillary that we needed to help our people?"
The bottom line, IMO, is that the entire administration is at the very very least guilty of gross incompetence and guilty for the loss of our people. These people are not capable of making proper decisions and exist by the grace of a biased Press.
I have a little connection to Benghazi. I had talked to Sean Smith numerous times back when I played Eve-Online. We were in the same ingame corporations for a few years. We used teamspeak, a VOIP voice chat. He was a pretty cool guy. He would talk about his assignments, not secret stuff, but a lot of stuff was talked about. I wasn't on the night he was killed, but did get emails the next day about his death.
Most people don't really know about Eve Online is filled with Hackers, Spooks and other "secret" alphabet agencies from ALL over the world.
And people are pissed about his death. I have no doubt that friends of Seans are the ones that hacked her servers.
Interesting fact is that Russian players make up about 1/3 of the games population. I'm sure it was them.
In-game Political plans span multi years, with the long game in mind at all time. I expect to see some real bombshells closer to November. They'll release some really good stuff.

The parents of two of the four Americans who died in the Benghazi attack in 2012 filed a lawsuit Monday against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, alleging her "reckless handling" of classified information contributed to their deaths.
The case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch USA on behalf of Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, and Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, for allegedly wrongfully causing the death of their sons as well as for defamation and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit suggests that Clinton's use of a private email server contributed to the deaths of Smith and Woods, adding that terrorists were able to "obtain the whereabouts of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and thus the U.S. State Department and covert and other government operations in Benghazi, Libya and subsequently orchestrate, plan, and execute the now infamous September 11, 2012 attack."
