I made my decision too. My next build will be................

.375 SOCOM

It'll be awhile but I'll start buying brass and dies soon. Still debating on just buying the whole upper or not. It has the ballistics and trajectory I want in a thumper caliber and still uses standard AR mags. Best part is it was created right here in Oklahoma by Tony Rumore. :mosh:

After that I'll build a skinny bullet screamer.
I looked at that. Very interesting round with a standard AR15 set up. That link led me to the 7mm raptor, and other AR loadings. Each has their plus's and minuses.

I just pulled targets for a kid shooting factory ammo from a 20" AR-15 shooting 6.5 Grendel at 1000 yards (vicious Red Castle match).
If you do not have one of those - you are missing out - thoroughly impressed!!!!

Well, I have a .243 WSSM that runs a 100 grain round at 3400 fps. The Grendel is way below that with the same bullet. its all about the bullet IMHO.
