Just got back from range in Ada. Shooting my Glock G4 19 9mm, CZ P07 9mm and Ruger 22/45 15 yards.
Fist picture is the Glock 19 at 12 yards 10 rounds. Second is the glock, 12 yds 40 rounds. Third is the Glock and target together. Forth is the CZ 10 rounds at 12 yards. Fifth is the CZ 40 rounds at 12 yards. Sixth is the CZ and target. Seventh is the Ruger 22/45 at 15 yards 10 rounds and the eighth Glock and target 3.JPG CZ 12 yds 10 rds 1.JPG CZ 12 40 rds 2.JPG CZ and target 3.JPG ruger 10 rds 15 yds 1.JPG Ruger and target 15 yds 40 rds 2.JPG is the ruger and Glock 10 rds 12 yds 1.JPG Glock 40 rds 12 yds 2.JPG target 40 rounds.
As you can tell, I shoot the Glock like crap. Hate the grip and it just has an odd hold. Will be looking forward to the new CZ striker fire to replace it with. Sorry Glock Guys.
Loved the CZ. Nothing else to say. The Reason I shot the Ruger at 15 yards because I just sighted it in at that range.
Had fun, need work on my trigger control and the dog is in my lap. Life is good.

Sounds like a good day to me. Before you toss that Gen 4 G19 in favor of anas of yet un-tried CZ striker fired gun...try before you buy maybe? If you do decide to sell the Glock, it should be fairly easy to do so right here on OSA. I sure don't understand what people mean when they say they "hate the grip" ... I can switch back and forth from a Glock to a 1911 and don't really have an issue. I don't notice any big deal. Maybe I'm just lucky. Bring that Glock to the ENS.

It's the finger grooves. I've had them on other guns, even put them on, but it just feels odd to my hand. Going to put a rubber glock grip cover on it and see if it makes a difference. It may be that I got away from shooting the darn thing in favor of the CZ and 1911, two extremely nice guns to shoot. I'm not a glock hater. I like the darn things and more than a hypocrite because I've stated before how great a gun it is. I just don't get it out enough and shoot.
My bad.
I sounded frustrated (or as George on Seinfeld) "like an old man trying to send back soup in a restaurant" but I'm really a glock fan and had fun shooting it. (that's where the Hypocrisy comes in...Ha!.)

Here's a tip. Carry some white and blue masking tape in your range bag and start marking your targets after every 10 rounds or so. It's helpful to be able to identify where your shots are hitting and you don't have to buy a bunch of extra targets.

This is a great tip. Here's another; I use those little 2" X 2" post it notes; I will stick one or two up in say, the upper left hand corner of the target, shoot them (or at least at them). then move to a new section on the target and put on some new post it notes, and then repeat until I have it pretty much covered up with post it notes, some of which will have holes in them.

EDIT: the info in post #9 is also very much appreciated. I especially like the dot target idea.
