OKC Gun Club Questions

Territorial Marshals are shooting this sunday. You're welcome to come down and see the bays that us cowboy shooters use (The south pistol bays are cowboy action bays - but open to anyone when we're not shooting). The bays without permanent props are right next to these, so you could walk down and take a look.

This weekend is a no go for me because I have to work. I'll keep checking the calendar. I need an excuse to start uspsa anyways.

I finally got around to sending in an application. Does anyone know if they are accepting new members?

I was able to go out there and shoot and I was blown away with how awesome the place was.

They just brought in a new class. It seems like there have been have 2 or 3 orientations a year. I'd think sometime maybe in the spring / early summer. You can call Carey, the membership coordinator, and she could probably give you a better idea. I'm not posting her number here but contact information is on the OKC Gun Club website.

Firefighterguy - I ran into Carey today. The next orientation class is February 4th. She has started sending notification emails to those applications she has in waiting. If you don't have an email yet, you might want to call. They have about 1,800 renewals so far and I think they try to stay at 2,100 or less.

I got an email last night with an invitation to the orientation!

I assume that means my application was "accepted".

I don't shoot the action pistol but I love to go watch the matches...lots of fun!
I have been a member for several years.

Good deal. Yes, you will need to attend the orientation and write a check for the initiation fee and dues. By afternoon, you will have a badge and access to the ranges.
