Print 1" groups at 100 yards?
True.
But what you CAN do is hit minute of deer at 100 yards with a 1 oz chuck of lead.
I had the 270 vs 308 dilemma for years. Had both at one time or another, then downsized and had to choose. I chose the .308 as ammo was pretty decent and readily available. The .308 is great, but the 270 was such a smooth shooter and flat. Cannot go wrong with either I suppose but I kinda wish I had the 270 back.
