and

2-Day Performance Gun Fighting - Mod 1***: Saturday & Sunday, April 8th & 9th, 2017
Course info: http://restongrouptraining.com/courses-2dpg1.aspx

Registration for the courses is being handled by Primary & Secondary Admin & Logistics. Please visit their page to register using the link below. A tuition discount is available for students registering to attend both classes. Please contact PSAL directly for information related to the discount.
https://www.primaryandsecondarytraining.com/

Courses will be held in Pawnee, OK and additional information will follow via email to all registrants regarding range location and other details.

***Students should familiarize and confirm their competency with the Reston Group rifle and pistol standards prior to this class. This is not a beginner's course but will build upon a solid foundation of gun handling skills expected of every student. Students without this foundation of fundamental safety, marksmanship, and firearm operation may not be able to keep up with the tempo of the class. The standards are available on the course description pages found on both the Reston Group and PSAL websites linked above.

There are none posted on Jared's page. Our understanding of this course is that it is a bridge of sorts between the licensing class and more intermediate and advanced coursework.

Students will have a chance to pressure test and develop their carry setup, shooting fundamentals, and gun handling skills, as well as receiving instruction on defensive mindset from someone truly qualified to teach it. Jared survived a close contact shooting and has been involved in several more line of duty shootings.

Hopefully that gives you what you need. Let me know if we can answer any other questions.

Thanks, that does help. I lurked around Reston's site a little more and found some courses that specifically call out requirements and the CC Deployment course did not, so I'm going to assume that it does not require any.

Bump with reminder that OK LEOs will receive 16 hours of continuing education credit from CLEET for the 2-day Performance Gun Fighting course. DO NOT miss out on a great training opportunity.

Do not let this opportunity pass you by. LEOs need to look into this class, as well, for the added value of the 16 professional development hours. If the shooting standards have put you off, don't let them. There's still time to work on your own to raise your personal best performance. If you're knocking on the door, Jared can get you through it. If you have other questions or concerns, please let us know. We're happy to provide whatever help we can.
