Also check the part number through Amazon. Seriously, I found my window switch was made by Dorman and the part number. Amazon had it for $19. Ford wanted $47 for the same exact item. Amazon can save you a ton of money on car parts. Also got a factory FoMoCo fan assembly for $69. It was over $400 from the dealer. Google up the part numbers and dig a little.
Exactly. I didn't know O'rielly carried boat motor parts either at dang near 1/2 price from the boat dealership. Buddy putting in a new lower unit found them there.

I'll check Amazon. O'rielly doesn't have that part in the computer. Neither does Napa. I'll check the connections tomorrow. This has been a bad week! Sunday my ac in the house wasn't cooling, I found termites in the house, now this.

I don't remember how I found the manufacturer and part number, I may have kiped it off of autozone or napa's website. But the auto makers ALL use someone else's parts for electrical stuff. Most of it comes right out of a catalog.

rock auto is also a hell of a source. My mechanic son orders a lot from them for his Colorado shop. They been good to me on orders like brake pads and such. premium for economy prices.

I appreciate all the information, but last week I reset the codes, changed the transmission fluid and it's running like it's supposed to now. If it does it again I'll have to look at changing the shift solenoid, which is what the code was showing.
